Tim is in his third year with the rowing program at Richmond. During his tenure, the team has found significant success across the board, including Grand Finals in both Dad Vails and the ACRA National Championships. The team has also medaled at many local regattas, state and regional races, and Championship events. He also founded Richmond's adaptive rowing team who's athletes were the first ever collegiate para rowers to compete Nationally.
Prior to coaching Richmond, Tim coached with the Virginia Commonwealth University Rowing team where he worked as the Women's Freshman Coach for two years. His women found resounding success with showings at the Head of the Charles and a fourth place finish at the ACRA National Championships.
Outside of coaching Richmond, Tim is the Executive Director of Richmond Community Rowing and works with junior and adaptive rowers in the area.
Patrick is a new addition to the coaching staff, having graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in May where he majored in history. He began rowing as a freshman in high school where he rowed all four years before rowing throughout undergrad. He competed for VCU all over the country in both lightweight and heavyweight categories.
While not coaching for Richmond he spends his time coaching juniors at Richmond Community Rowing and working at the Wilton House Museum.
